He may be a Great Handyman, but that doesn't make him a good Electrician. Protect yourself and your loved ones.
Hire a Licensed Professional. Licensed Electricians in the State of Florida are required to have a minimum of 7 years of documented trade experience and then pass a rigorous State or County examination before they can be licensed to work in your home or business. They also must have Liability and Property damage insurance. Make sure you ask for proof of these before you hire someone to work on your property.
Warning! Electricity can be very dangerous and even fatal! According to the Electrical Safety Foundation International " There are more than 30,000 non-fatal injuries a year and an average of 60 electrocutions a year". We at Lightwave Electric believe in electrical safety, we STRONGLLY recommend that you use a licensed professional when it comes to your electrical projects. Below is a safety video put out by the Electrical Safety Foundation, they have so much valuable information on their web-site that we choose to provide a link to them rather than listing safety tips ourselves.
Most, if not all of the information, images and videos on this page are accredited to the Electrical Safety Foundation International. Please click on their logo to find out much more about electrical safety in your home or work place.
